Today we enjoyed a class quiz. The children worked really well in their teams and wrote their answers on the quiz sheets. It was lots of fun!

Crew Schön Team Building
Today our challenge was to build the tallest tower. we used art straws and masking tape. The children showed some great problem solving skills.

Our Day in Year 1
We had a lovely day today in our new classroom! We started the day in our new crew groups. In Crew Schön we learned about our new learning environment and then we played a team game called ‘Cross the River’. We had lots of fun!
Next we talked about our Class Norms and the behaviours we would like to see in our new class.
In the afternoon we created some beautiful artwork to display in our new classrooms.
The children were awesome! Well done Class 6. I wonder what adventures we will have tomorrow?
Reception Sports Day 2022
On Friday we held our Reception sports day in the glorious sunshine. The children did absolutely amazing running their races with effort, pride and a beaming support for their team mates and friends. A HUGE thank you to everyone that turned out in the heat to support our sports day event. Finally I am more than pleased to announce that CREW CARTER were the winning Crew! Well done to all involved! Here are the highlights to enjoy!

Reception Sports Day
Please can children arrive at school tomorrow wearing their suncream and comfortable sports clothes. Please can children also bring a sunhat and water bottle.
EYFS: Beach Day Celebration.
WOW! WOW! WOW! what an amazing afternoon. A huge thank you to everyone that came, I’m sure you will all agree how amazing the children were with their singing as you all walked into their celebration. Thank you all for taking the time to come and enjoy the afternoon with the children, a massive thank you to those who also supported at our event: Real Donkeys (donkey rides), Mr Dan (entertainment), your plaice or mine(fish and chips) and Helen for the lovely ice creams.

Staff crew tonight 💚
Staff took part in their own staff crew sports day tonight. We felt exactly the same as some of the children did on sports day, when we were put outside of our comfort zone.
There were some falls, some competitiveness and lots of laughs!
