What a fantastic achievement for these year 2 superstars in class 8! They have been at school every single morning and afternoon of this school year! That is absolutely amazing and the children and their families should be so proud. We know that children can be poorly but everyone has to agree that having 100% attendance is definitely worth celebrating! Well done guys…you deserve your amazon voucher, certificate and prize! We have had the best day celebrating our crew today. We spent our attendance money on hotdogs, pizza, sausage rolls and biscuits. We watched some TV together and coloured in. Then we ended our day with some party games and sweets! I will miss this gorgeous bunch so much! What a lovely day we have had and they’ve been so helpful, tidying and sorting the classroom in between all of that fun! Let’s enjoy our last day tomorrow before the Summer begins!

I am so proud of the learning that has happened in key stage 1 this year. The children have risen to the challenge and gone above and beyond with the products that they have made this year and I will forever be grateful for the support from our parents to help celebrating these fantastic achievements.
At the picnic tomorrow, which starts at 12.30, we will have 2 of our amazing products on sale for parents to buy. We have the beautiful recipe books, which feature the children’s writing, photographs and work. There will also be our newest product…the reusable bag, with a self portrait of every child in key stage 1 on, which they sketched this term. I have bought one to use for myself next year too!

Class 9 are now officially ready to start year 3 tomorrow! We are so very proud of you and how far each and every one of you have come! Keep being you, try hard and above all always be kind to others and yourselves! See you soon superstars!!!!
A huge congratulations to everyone in key stage one today you have all worked your little socks off this year and you should all be really proud of yourselves. 🥹Also a huge well done to our certificate winners and crew Rodgers for winning the attendance!! Todays assembly was a little emotional as it’s the last time year 2 get to sing our special song at the end. 🥰
Thank you so much to all of our fabulous supporters this morning who cheered on all of the children in key stage 1. The children thoroughly enjoyed it and I am so proud of all of them for taking part and having a go! We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and I am so pleased that we managed to escape the rain!!!!

We had a great time for our last School Council meeting of the year. It was lovely to see all the children reflecting on what they have enjoyed this year before we celebrated all our hard work with some party games. Thank you for all your hard work this year! You have all been amazing and should be super proud of yourselves.
Just a little reminder that year 1 and year 2 will be having their sports day on Wednesday 12th July. It will be starting at 9.00am on the key stage 2 field. The children can come to school in their PE kits and wear trainers. Please can they bring sun cream already applied, a sun hat and a water bottle.
It will also be a chance for them to share with you their recipe books that they have produced as part of our Spring Term expedition and these will be on sale for £5 if anyone would like to purchase one.
There will also be refreshments for sale for any adults that attend.
We can’t wait to have a fantastic morning with you all.

To celebrate arts week, we would like as many people as possible to create some artwork linked to the theme of ‘connecting across generations‘. Get together with your family or friends to create a piece of artwork. It can be anything you want! You could create a family portrait, a landscape of somewhere you like to visit or just your favourite picture.
It would be great to see everyone working together to create one piece of artwork. Send any pictures or your final art work to Miss Barnett or email them to [email protected] by Monday 17th July.
