Reading books
We will be collecting all home school reading books from Monday. If you would like to continue reading at home there are some lovely online reading books. Please also find previous blog posts that contain links to our shared reader books for you to access at home. We will also be sending home a list of the ‘RED words’ (not decodable) that the children have been learning this year in readiness for Year One, We still need lots of practice with this as these are easy to forget without our daily practice.
The reason for this is so we can complete an audit of the books we have in order to ensure we are able to order any needed in preparation for the new school year.

F2 Sports day!
Our reception sports day will take place Thursday 13th July. This will be at 9.00am. Parents are invited to watch their children compete in some races on the KS2 field and then join the children with some activities. Please can children arrive at the usual time to register in class and parents can then make their way around to the seated area on the field. Children can wear any comfy clothing or sports wear such as shorts, t-shirt and trainers for the full day. Please can children also be provided with a sunhat and suncream just incase.Ā

EYFS Celebration of Learning
We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday at our EYFS Celebration of Learning. There was so much to see and do and we were so lucky to have bouncy castles and an old fire engine.
We would like to thank all of our grown ups that came to play with our children and support us in our celebration.
Another huge thanks to the food vans that came also, they were enjoyed by many.
Finally, a huge thanks to our children for working so hard in our expedition.
We hope you enjoyed it.

EYFS Celebration of Learning
Reminder
We would like to invite all our EYFS parents to our Celebration of Learning this Wednesday the 28th June at 1:00pm. We invite you to join in with our ‘On the Move’ Celebration as we finish not only a term of exploring ‘Would you travel by wheels, wings or other things?ā but a year of fantastic learning and growing together.
We ask that all parents arrive at nursery gate for 1pm and enter KS2 field through the small gate from nursery garden. The children will welcome you by kicking off our celebration with a sing and sign performance. We will then take part in our afternoon of fun activities!
We ask that following our singing adults are ready to collect their children from their crew leader and class adults. Children will be handed over safely and signed out on their crew register at this point so that you can enjoy the afternoon together. Children’s belongings will be in the nursery classroom for you to collect when you leave.
We have so much to look forward to including a transport themed play area and bouncy castle, transport crafts, stalls, ice cream, fish and chips and the bucket list van. (Watch this space for prices if you wish to enjoy food and treats in the afternoon!)
You MUST supervise your child at all times especially when using the inflatables and if you have any further questions do not hesitate to ask.

Congratulations to our children who got their yellow t-shirt this week for being out of this world! Ollie, Martha and Joie you really deserve it and we are so proud!
