A big well done to Lola, Dexter, Brooklyn, Bradley, Faith, Dante and Marcie for completing today’s 100g challenge. It is super that you have engaged with maths week! We’ve got flour, icing sugar, rice, pasta, cereal, dice and of course some lovely grapes!
This week, year 4 have been writing acrostic poems about evacuation and the powerful emotions that evacuees felt. The vocabulary that the children have been using is fantastic! We felt this was a great opportunity to share this with their peers and to practice their performance skills. Beautiful work class 12.
This Friday, Friday 30th April, marks the beginning of the Captain Tom 100 Challenge which will continue until Bank Holiday Monday 3rd May.Â

This morning in Gblock class 12 worked on their observational skills to sketch a fossil which links to their expedition, well done everyone you all worked hard on these today, you should be really proud of yourselves!

Today crew Oldridge  had to work collaboratively and discuss with each other how to turn the sheet over without stepping off it onto the carpet. They had so much fun with this and showed great teamwork.
