Crew Knowles: Thorne Pentecostal Charity Shop
This morning, Crew Knowles dropped off some more donations and lost property at the Pentecostal charity shop. Whilst there, we also spent a few minutes helping to tidy up!
Design a library!
This year, we are working hard to raise money to develop our reading for pleasure library so firstly, we would like to say a huge thank you for all your sponsors from the colour run which will go along way to helping us!
Secondly, we still need your help! We would love for you to help us design the library based on the space we have to use which is the foyer area near the hall.
Please design your ideal library and share your plans with Miss Knowles in person or at [email protected] This is for everyone across school to get involved in! Please send your plans by 7th October.

Crew Knowles – Expedition
In our physics lessons, we have looked at the movement of the Earth relative to the sun and also started to explore the movement of the moon. We acted out the movement to help us understand how the earth rotates whilst orbiting the sun, and at the same time the moon orbits the earth!
Y6 Parent Meeting
We would like you to a Y6 meeting on Tuesday 17th September @5pm. Year 6 is an incredibly important year and there is lots to consider! We will be sharing important information regarding secondary schools, SATS and the London residential.

The deadline for applying to secondary school is 31st October – you must apply for a secondary or your children risk not getting a place.

Crew Knowles – Family Learning!
We had a lovely family learning session this afternoon – the first one of Year 6! The children and their adults researched planets to create beautiful posters of our solar system! As always, I was so impressed with the creativity from everyone and they look lovely on display! Thank you!
