Today’s reading lesson was all around retrieval so we used roll mats to generate different retrieval questions based on our text ‘Joe White’.
This week, we have been learning all about light including how we see light and how shadows are formed. The children hunted for shadows around the classroom and thought about how they were created.

Year 6 will also start to receive additional homework in the run up to SATs which will be handed out to them weekly.
We had great fun this morning playing bingo as part of our party day! We had lots of winners!
The Year 5/6 Christmas disco will take place on Thursday 12th December straight after school 3.15 – 4.15pm.
Children will not need money as treats will be provided. They also won’t need to get changed as it is already Christmas jumper / non uniform day on Thursday!
Pick up will be from normal classroom doors at 4.15pm.
