Thank you to everyone who joined EYFS today. It was wonderful to see so much support for our children and to have their hard work acknowledged.
We hope you like your new bin stickers and have them on your blue bins already.

We would like to wish Miss Smith the very best as she finishes today to go on maternity leave! We will Miss her so much and appreciate all she has done for us this year! We can’t wait to meet you and your baby!
The children gave careful thought to looking after our oceans and seas today as they took part in lots of activities learning about caring for our blue plant. The children dressed up in blue and thought about how we need to show compassion to our planet and work collaboratively to not pollute our oceans. This learning linked carefully to our case study 2 learning ‘How can we help save the ocean?’ The children decided a great start is by recycling rubbish when visiting the seaside. This also keeps our sea creatures safe!

On Wednesday 12th June Nursery and Reception children will be celebrating World Ocean Day. We will be having a day filled with ocean themed activities and ask for your child to come dressed in something blue or dress as an under the sea creature.
Please do not feel pressured to buy anything new – anything blue will do!
Many thanks for your support in what we hope will be an excellent day for our children.
