What a fantastic community crew we have had today! We have celebrated so much beautiful work, children reading regularly at home, Howl point winners and our Crew Champions! Here are some of our superstars from this week! Congratulations to Regan and Jack our super Crew champions!
We are very excited that we have had 10 eggs delivered today in reception. We are hopeful that these eggs will hatch and then we will have some chicks in our classroom by the end of the week.
We will keep you posted on the progress of this and what we find out this week.

Keep a look out on the blog this week for what we will be getting up to in our science weeks. We are planning to inspire the children with scientific experiments and visitors with scientific professions! We are very excited to see what the children know already and what they learn!

WOW!!! We had a fantastic day today at the farm. We were able to hold, stroke and even feed the animals. We made some beautiful animal craft and we had a really exciting, bumpy (and some times a little smelly hehe) tractor ride. We even had time to play on the park, play tractors, bouncy castles and soft play. The children made us all so proud with how beautifully they behaved, they really were a credit to the school and to themselves.
A huge shout out to all the grown ups that came along to help and support our children and the school today, you are all amazing, Without you support this trip would not have been possible, so a Hugh thank you from us all. We hope that everyone enjoyed it much as we did.

Parents/carers,
Just a few reminders for tomorrow based on questions today:
Thank you

Well done to these children for being our HOWL point winners this week. Keep up the great work! Also well done to the children for achieving your first reading certificates for reading 10 or more books at home. A finally a huge well done to our children for showing us all the character traits of being a Crew champion. You deserve this and we are so proud of you.
Mrs Wallace and Mrs Jones.
Reception children looked fabulous in their disco outfits. We has such a great time at our school disco. We dance the afternoon away and even had a great sing along to a couple of songs.
We have been learning all about capacity in Reception. We have been working hard to understand and use the language of capacity including, full, half full, empty, nearly empty, nearly full. The children were amazing at showing their learning in their own play.
