One of the children in my class has lost a red superhero coat. He last had it on Wednesday morning. Please would you check your child’s bag to make sure it has not been brought home by accident?
Many thanks

As this has been our First Week Back as a full Reception Crew we have been really focussed on Crew building and spending time together. Yesterday we had the treat of making some yummy pizzas with Mr Kershaw and it was fabulous.
Not only did we get to work together but we got to eat lovely pizza treats too.
We had such a lovely time as Reception Crew.
Well done everyone x
We are delighted to invite all parents and carers of children in Reception to our welcome meeting on Monday 15th September from 5.00pm – 6.00pm in the school hall (please use the hall door entrance).
This meeting will be a wonderful opportunity to meet the reception teaching team and to hear more about the exciting year of learning ahead. The meeting will cover many things including phonics, visits and Assessment in the early years. . We can answer any questions that you may have and explore the year ahead together.
Most importantly, this will be a chance to learn about routines and expectations in Reception, and to see how home and school can work together to make this a positive, successful and enjoyable year for every child. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing the exciting journey ahead!
Thank you in advance,
Miss Carter and the F2 Team
What a great afternoon with our F2 children having Smores on the field while enjoying some stories and some tombola raffle fun!
A huge thank you to all of the grown ups that came and supported us. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
Thanks

We’ve had another wonderful couple of days with our second group of children, who have also enjoyed a fantastic start to Reception. They made the most of the sunshine outdoors and loved exploring our indoor environment too. There’s been lots of creativity with drawing, imaginative play in small world, relaxing in our new chill space, and plenty of experimenting with the pipes to see how we can move the water just where we want it!
We hope you all have a lovely weekend. We can’t wait to see everyone together on Monday for another exciting week ahead, including our first Parents Stay and Play with stories and s’mores, our very first XP Outdoors session with Mr Kershaw, and of course, our very own Reception Water Day!
Come along for an afternoon of fun with storytelling and delicious s’mores. We’ll also be holding a book sale and a toy raffle, a great chance to find something new and exciting!
If you’d like to take part, don’t forget to bring along some change.
We’d love to see you there!
From the Reception Team
We have had such a lovely first couple of days in Reception with our first group of new children. They have enjoyed lots of fun exploring both the inside and outside areas, from crafting, playdough, and the home corner to dancing, playing the keyboard book to the tune of Twinkle Twinkle, digging in the sandpit, and so much more! The children have settled beautifully and are already showing that they are definitely ready for this exciting new chapter in Reception. I can’t wait to see them all again on Monday.

After our musical arts session we decided to cool off in the shade with our delicious ice lollies.
A huge thank-you to everyone who came today to our two reading sessions to mark the final day of transition. It was lovely to see so many parents, carers and other family members enjoying a book with the new Class 6.
See you all in the Autumn term!
