Reception- Mr Overson visits class 4!

Class 4 had the privilege of story time with Mr Overson today! the children voted for their favourite story and then had both! We thoroughly enjoyed listening to them and hope he can visit again soon!

Reception are working hard!

Today lots of children were continuing their learning in their play! Remembering last weeks learning and putting it into their play. I am so proud! The children have worked hard to think about the many ways that we can sort! The children thought carefully about shape, size, colour and detail. How many ways can you sort at home?

Reception / Faith Day

This morning we had a lovely visit from Pastor Kevin. He ran lovely assembly for the children which involved lots of singing, a game about spreading happiness and a story about the Good Samaritan. We love our Pastor Kevin assemblies and can wait to see him again.

F2 Phonics Family Learning

We had a fabulous family learning session today. It was so lovely to see all of our children and families being really immersed in the phonics activities and for the children to show off the skills that they have learned already.

A big thank you to all of our grown ups who attended and for making the afternoon really special. We hope that you enjoyed it.

If you would like any more information regarding phonics please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of the F2 team.

EYFS FOOD SAFETY

Food safety advice for children age 5 and under – When sending your child with a packed lunch, please cut small round foods, like grapes, strawberries and cherry tomatoes, lengthways and into quarters. Cut large fruits like melon, and hard fruit or vegetables like raw apple and carrot into slices instead of small chunks.

Many thanks for your support.
