We have been working hard on our sketches today and I think they are looking amazing! I am so impressed with the different techniques they have used to add detail to these historic buildings in Thorne. Well done class 8!

Beautiful Work This Week
XP Gateshead Students Shine as Digital Leaders in Exciting Expeditions Project
Students at XP Gateshead are stepping up in a big way as Digital Leaders, diving into the world of technology to record content for their Expeditions. Teaming up with the XP Trust Comms Crew, these young tech enthusiasts are taking on the role of professional sound technicians. They’re not just learning the ropes of audio recording and editing – they’re skilfully mastering them, gaining hands-on experience that goes beyond the classroom and reaching into real-world applications.
It was so inspiring to see these students get stuck in and take charge of such an important project. Across our Trust, students are constantly proving that with enthusiasm and dedication, they can achieve anything. A massive appreciation to these Digital Leaders for going above and beyond!
A Decade of Activism – New Beautiful Work in Frenchgate Centre
A new curation of recent beautiful work has been installed in the Frenchgate Centre in Doncaster City Centre! There’s awesome work from schools across our Trust, with a key focus on our Curriculum seam ‘Protecting our Planet’ – be sure to go and see the awesome work our students have created!

Sharing a Story!
We had some lovely photos shared last month of our children enjoying stories for ‘share a story month’.
We’ve also continued to share stories this month with our travelling book fair which has been visited lots by our community! Thanks to everyone who purchased a book, we earned £420 to spend on new books for our school library! Wow! Thank you for everyone’s support and we hope you enjoy your new books!
Beautiful work to honour our war heroes
As promised here are the photographs of the finished display of the work done to commemorate D Day 80. I am beyond proud of the thoughtful and respectful way the children have contributed to Green Top’s way of remembering the sacrifices made all those years ago to ensure our freedom.
Crew Rodgers at the Book Fayre
Crew Rodgers enjoyed a story time crew session this morning at the Book Fayre. We listened to a book called Dogs Don’t Dance by Gemma Atkinson and inspected all the books and stationary that is on sale. We had a lovely time!
