We were certainly all of the above in our art lesson today as we shared our notice, praise and wonders during a critique of our sculptures. It was wonderful to see how the children used subject specific vocabulary when discussing the art work and they made some fabulous suggestions as to how each piece could be improved. I was blown away by you all. So proud of you.
Class 6 learning legends
Congratulations to our postcard winners today. Ezra, Bobby, Ellis and Elina had a wonderful day filled with hard work and excellent learning attitudes. Keep up the great work.

Phase certificate winners from class 6
A huge well done to these little superstars today who won Work Hard, Be Kind, Get Smart, HoWL point and reading champion awards in this mornings phase assembly. Keep up the good work kids!

More fantastic sculptures!!!
This week class 8 have been creating some extremely unique and artistic sculptures using recycled metal items.
I am so impressed with the way that they tackled their ideas and the skills that they used to overcome problems within their designs and during the creative process!
I am so excited to see the end product.
Well done crew! Mrs Shaw x
We are crew!
This afternoon, I was blown away by the collaboration and kindness shown in Crew Jackson. The children encouraged, supported and coached each other through the challenge of sawing wood to make their frames for their final product. Their attitudes were so positive and I could not have asked for more from them. I loved the save the animal posters the children created that go with the speeches they are currently writing in English. It was definitely a ‘Happy Thursday’ in our crew today!
I am super proud of you all. Mrs Jackson x

Academic Crew – Crew Jeeves
This morning during academic crew the children looked through their maths book and found a piece of work that they were proud of. They then wrote down what they were most proud of and gave themselves a praise for their work. It was lovely to see the children reflect on their work and be proud of their achievements. Well done Crew Jeeves some amazing work.
Red Nose Day
In community crew this morning we talked about Red Nose Day and why we raise money. We started designing our own red nose for the competition. Keep a look out tomorrow for our final designs.
Superstar artists
I simply could not choose a single postcard winner after today’s amazing art lesson.
You are ALL legends in my eyes!
Well done crew Rodgers!
