Celebrating a fabulous year

 I

Class 10 have been amazing in our final working week together (and for the entire year) so we decided to have a little party this afternoon to celebrate fabulous learning all year. All of the children have been superstars from day one and so they thoroughly deserved this little treat!

Attendance Treat Part Two!

To continue their attendance treat, Class 11 were visited by an ice cream van this afternoon!

We had the best afternoon celebrating their hard work, indulging in deliciously tasty ice creams!

Well done everyone!

Attendance Treat! Yummy!!!

Class 11 had a well deserved treat this afternoon as they tucked in to a delicious McDonald’s. The children voted to spend the money that they had won and saved up ALL YEAR ROUND by working so hard to come to school each and everyday. It has been amazing to see the children so aware of their attendance and to see them encourage each other to come in each day.

For pudding, they each got an ice-cream from the ice-cream van- perfect in today’s heat! Photos to follow….

Well done everyone! So very proud of you all!!!

F2 and KS1 celebrations in assembly

Well done to our house point winners this week.  You have all worked really hard to impress the grownups at Green Top over the last week.

We are also really proud of our final gold reading award winners this year.  We hope you enjoy reading your new book prizes at home.

Some fantastic out of school achievements this week.  The Y1 footballers played amazingly well in their tournament this weekend winning medals and a trophy.  Well done to Theo for saving all the penalties and becoming man of the match.  It was lovely to hear about Ruby’s successes in swimming and the adventures she is having going open water swimming!

Enjoying our session with Doncaster Rovers

Class 10 had so much fun at their last session with Doncaster Rovers. Not only have the children enjoyed learning new skills and participating in many fun filled activities but they have also enjoyed reading and sharing books with the coaches. The children want to thank the Rovers for an amazing six weeks and we hope to see them again next year!

Food science

Weve had an excellent morning this morning with Mrs Godfrey. She told us all about her job as food scientist and how to make pasta in a  factory. We did an experiment and looked at the clothing we would need to wear in a food factory.

All the children were really engaged and asked some great questions. Thank you so much to Mrs Godfrey you were fantastic and we loved learning with you.
