Thank you to Mrs Wooldridge who brought in lots of delicious fruits for the children to taste today. The children loved trying some new foods and talking about where in the world they have come from.
This week we have been learning about Diwali and how it is celebrated.
We have been enjoying having crew discussions and creating Rangoli patterns.
I wonder if you can tell someone in your family something you have learnt about Diwali in Nursery this week?
This week we are looking at the events in our class story ‘The Tiny Seed’ by Eric Carle but the grown ups would like to know what is YOUR favourite story?
Can you draw a picture of what happens in the beginning, middle and end of your favourite story and send it to [email protected] or simply show us your picture on the nursery door for a photo. A tag for our reward tree will be waiting for you if you can…

Some beautiful outdoor learning caught on camera today of the children exploring what happens in the different seasons.
As the weather is changing and there is now a nip in the air we would like you to learn how to put your own coat on and zip it up. We know this can be tricky so we would be so impressed if you can do this yourself! Simply show us in nursery that you can do this and we’ll get you a tag for our reward tree!

A huge well done to all in Crew Wallace for some amazing writing for our final touchdowns. The children took such pride in their work, which was lovely to see and the end results blew me away. If this is our starting point I cannot wait to see what the rest of the year brings!!

It was amazing to see children coaching and leading their peers learning in maths today. The coaches took their role very seriously and they made it look really easy, it was great to hear the explanation and support being given in such a mature way!
