Remembering Alan

Today nursery celebrated the life of a very very special man. Alan, our caretaker. Although our little ones don’t remember Alan in person, his love, care for others and his spirit was celebrated and talked about.
Alan did everything for the children at Green Top and my goodness, he would have loved our children in nursery this year. ❤️

Celebrating Diwali

This week we have been learning about Diwali and how it is celebrated.
We have been enjoying having crew discussions and creating Rangoli patterns.

I wonder if you can tell someone in your family something you have learnt about Diwali in Nursery this week?

Home learning challenge

This week we are looking at the events in our class story ‘The Tiny Seed’ by Eric Carle but the grown ups would like to know what is YOUR favourite story?

Can you draw a picture of what happens in the beginning, middle and end of your favourite story and send it to [email protected] or simply show us your picture on the nursery door for a photo. A tag for our reward tree will be waiting for you if you can…

Happy reading! 🙂

Odd socks day

Today we celebrated the start of Anti-bullying week by wearing Odd Socks to promote individuality and how it’s okay to be different!
You are all so special to us and we wouldn’t want anyone of you to change. Always be yourself, be proud and sprinkle kindness like it’s confetti.
Here are some of our best quotes from today…

”I love Issac and he loves me.” Myles
“I love your work today Angelica” Tianna

”We need to be kind. We all love each other.” Eli

This week’s home challenge

As the weather is changing and there is now a nip in the air we would like you to learn how to put your own coat on and zip it up. We know this can be tricky so we would be so impressed if you can do this yourself! Simply show us in nursery that you can do this and we’ll get you a tag for our reward tree!
