A big well done to Phoenix for your super home learning using coins to help you subtract and count. A big well done also for putting your pyjamas on by yourself! You are a superstar! 10 HoWL points have been added to Class Dojo!
Aria, Ava and Charlotte worked collaboratively yesterday to build this amazing castle. The girls enjoyed counting the blocks and measuring how tall is was using a ruler. Well done, we think this is en extra super duper castle!
A reminder to all parents to read Mrs Salter’s letter that was emailed out yesterday. This letter includes key dates and information for the half term ahead.
All key dates and events have also been added to the school calendar.
Many thanks,
EYFS Team
Martha wanted to write a shopping list of things she could buy at her pretend food shop. Martha was able to hear the initial sound of each word was able to write the graphemes for the words. She bought egg, pasta, carrot, peas and a hot dog.

Dear parents and carers,
We still are missing quite a few responses from parents whose child is moving into reception next term. The form will be emailed out again today for you to complete. We would really appreciate your cooperation with this as it will help your child’s new teacher get to know a little about them in preparation for the new school year.
If you are emailed the form, please click ‘fill in form’ and ‘submit‘ when finished typing otherwise we will not receive your response.
Many thanks,
The EYFS Team
This week in maths we will be focusing on subtraction. We wonder if you could practise subtracting numbers from 10 (or if you find this super easy…move on to 20).
All you need are some objects, this could be cubes, pasta, cereal, bean bags, toys, play dough – whatever you like! and a hoop. If you don’t have a hoop you could draw a circle using chalk or simply use a piece of paper to count out 10 objects on and then take them away.
Please send a photo of you subtracting at home to [email protected] so that we can celebrate your home learning at Nursery and you will be awarded 10 HoWL points!
Happy learning! 🙂
Ronnie has drawn this beautiful picture of his family. It’s awesome and we think you are too Ronnie! Well done! 🙂
A big well done to you all! 🙂
