Dear parents and carers,
Please make sure your child’s clothing, water bottles, packed lunches and any other items they bring to Nursery are clearly named. We are currently experiencing a lot of children’s possessions going missing.

We had a very cosy day in F2 today! We all wore our pyjamas and shared lots of stories with our teddy bears. We were so lucky that some children from further up school came to read to us and we shared stories with our friends.
We had lots of fun!

Today we had our F2 Family Learning. The children were very excited to share in some amazing bear related activities with their grown ups. Everyone was engaged and working hard!
A huge thank you to everybody who supported our children today, it really did make it even more special to share those memories with you all.

Tomorrow we would love for you to come to Nursery and reception dressed in your pyjamas and bring along your favourite teddy. We will be spending the day sharing stories, singing bear themed songs and having some special visitors come into nursery…
Please make sure all clothing and teddies are clearly named.

We would like to introduce our very own Crew Bear! As part of our Expeditionary learning today we have made our very own bear, the children decided to name him Adventure Bear.
We put in his stuffing all by ourselves and we even gave him a heart, We all gave the heart a squeeze or a kiss so that there is a bit of all of us in our Crew bear!
Adventure bear will be going home with one of our children every Friday, whose turn will it be this week???

We have been gathering the leaves from the outdoor area today. We made some beautiful leafy pictures that will fit perfectly into our woodland feel classrooms for our new expedition ‘How do we care for bears?’
I am so proud of all of the wonderful work we have produced!

On Wednesday 14th we will be holding our Family Learning session at 2-3pm in Nursery. We would love for you to come and join us with your child to enjoy some Goldilocks and the Three Bears craft activities.
Please let staff know on the Nursery door if you are able to make it.

Today we were very confused?! Somebody made a big mess in our out door area. We noticed the mess but we did not know who had done it.
We then spotted some footprints in our classroom, maybe it was a bear? We talked with the grown ups about what kind of bear could have made the prints and looked at the different prints to see if we could match it.
We enjoyed the morning but it took us a while to tidy up, We hope that bear doesn’t come back to make a mess again!
On Tuesday 20th September it will be our Family Learning day for our new Expedition Caring for Bears. The session will begin at 2pm until 3pm. This will be an opportunity for you to come and join in with some activities with your children related to the expedition. You will come through the gate on Ash Tree road and will be directed to the hall.
