Class 7 have been practicing their throwing and catching skills today in order to improve their hand eye coordination. We had targets to throw at and then tested ourselves catching. Some of us could even catch one handed and on one foot!

We are so proud of Levi in Year 4 for his brilliant achievement in football this week. Over the weekend, Levi not only played an excellent match but also earned the title of Player of the Match!
Levi showed fantastic skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the game. The highlight came when he scored a memorable goal that had everyone cheering – a moment he will definitely remember for a long time.
It’s wonderful to see Levi’s hard work and passion for football. Well done and thank you for sharing in our crew this morning!
We had our first formal PE session today which focused on key skills such as travelling, balance and jumping. The children were very good at all of the skills and really impressed us with how independent they were changing into and out of their kit. That being said, there are still some children who have items of clothing missing. Please can you check your child’s bag for anything that doesn’t belong to them and return it to school ASAP?
Many thanks
Miss R x
We are so excited that Year 4 will be participating in XP Outdoors this half term on a WEDNESDAY. We are also lucky enough to have Activ8 for our PE sessions on a FRIDAY.
Please ensure your child has the correct change of clothing for each session.
Many thanks, Miss Walton and Mr Mumby
Yesterday, we took part in a whole KS2 orienteering competition where children had to use maps, teamwork and speed to get around the markers on the course in the quickest time! Shout out to all of Y6 for completing the course and working together as a Y6 crew. There was definitely some competition on show!
Yesterday, Year 3 took part in a whole KS2 orienteering competition where children had to use maps, teamwork and speed to get around the markers on the course in the quickest time! it was great fun and so lovely to see the children working well together and enjoying the warm weather outdoors.
5 children with great HOWLs from each crew, were chosen to take part in a workshop this morning. They used lots of PE skills throughout and then ended by making up a fantastic dance! The children were all amazing and loved the experience. Mrs Clay managed to watch it all and said the children all joined in 100% and really put their all into it! Well done guys!
The girls looking proud of the medals that were kindly donated to us!
Well done to our KS2 boys who took part in our first legacy competition yesterday at Doncaster Tennis Club. It was great to see some fantastic tennis skills on show and all the boys enjoying themselves. Well done for finishing 5th boys and a big shout out to George for winning the sportsmanship award. Bring on the next competition!
A huge congratulations to all my little athletes today who showed courage, determination, respect and kindness at our sports afternoon. They cheered each other on and celebrated their successes together and I couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them.
Well done to you all!
