This coming half term, XP Outdoors will change to a Tuesday and PE will remain on a Friday. Children require a suitable change of clothing and footwear for each session in line with school policy. Waterproof shoes/boots and coats are essential for XP Outdoors as the session activities run in all weather. Thank you!

KS1 football tournament!
What a great day for the boys this afternoon as they represented school at their first ever tournament. It’s fair to say we showed lots of courage and determination to be our best. Some highlights included a wonderful solo goal in a tough match, lots of great defensive work and some brave goalkeeping. We can’t wait for more! 🙂 Just a reminder to bring the kits back tomorrow, please!

Well done to the Y4 football team
A huge well done to those who took part in the first LKS2 Legacy tournament at Owston Park. It is safe to say that all the children had a great time and demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship. I was particularly impressed with the courage and confidence in those children who do not play football outside of school. Well done for reaching the QUARTER FINALS against some very strong teams.

Class 7 – PE
Class 7 loved practicing their skills in PE of chest passes and bounce passes. We even put our skills to use in a game where we had to try and get points for knocking the object off the cone.

Class 8: dribbling skills

The children were practising their ball skills today. They were working as a team to complete drills and to try and hit a target. Great lesson class 8!
Y5/6 Football
Well done to our Y5&6 footballers who took part in fixtures this afternoon against King Edward. Despite the results everyone had great fun and showed excellent skills throughout all the matches. Well done Y5&6!

Y5/6 Legacy Football
Well done to our Y5/6 footballers who took part in our first Legacy competition of the year yesterday. Despite their great effort throughout the tournament we lost out 1-0 in the quarter finals. Well done boys!

Baseball was a hit!
We went down to the ‘ball park’ and it was filled with budding baseball ears trying to hit a home run. What a lovely lunchtime and so full of enthusiasm. Well done Year 1 and 2 for being so sensible and getting into the baseball spirit!

Class 7 and 8 America Day!
We loved our America day, whether it was rocking with Mr Pickles or dancing with Mrs Rayner. Thank you so much for all of the fun we had!

Class 8’s American themed day

What a great day we have had today. We have had a cheerleading session, a music session using the drum sticks and baseball available during lunch time. We would like to thank the dinner staff for making such a delicious lunch too! Well done Dominik for being our lunch time winner because he had the tray with a sticker on…and on his birthday too! Well done guys!
