We are excited to announce that auditions for this year’s school production will be taking place via video submission.
Your child will be bringing home a script for the role or roles they wish to audition for. To take part, they should record a short video of themselves reading for that part (or parts). If they would also like to include singing the relevant song, this can be found on YouTube.
Once recorded, please email your child’s audition video(s) to [email protected] no later than 3rd October.
This approach allows every child the opportunity to audition in a relaxed environment and ensures we can give each submission the time and attention it deserves.
We look forward to seeing the children’s talents shine and are excited to begin casting our production. Thank you in advance for your support in helping your child prepare their audition.
Kind regards,
The Sherlock and Cinders Crew

Another week of gorgeous shout outs and celebrations for lots of children who have demonstrated our HOWLs and Character Traits over the last week. It was great to hear so many positive shoutouts from the children too!

During our first RE lesson this week, we were thinking about how everyone is made up of different aspects that make us unique. This was then linked to the Hindu god who is also made up of many different aspects.

What a fantastic start to our year celebrating our first worthy winners. A huge well done to everyone! I wonder who will be our winners next week!

This afternoon we have had a great time in arts and craft club creating our own tropical birds linked to our expeditionary learning. Check out some of the fabulous pieces below.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Year 5/6 parent meeting last night. If you were unable to attend, please see the slides below as there is some important information regarding the residential, transition and applying for secondary school.
We’ve seen some exciting animals in the rainforest this morning including leaf-cutter ants, sloths and jaguars up close! It was amazing to see the animals in their habitat and it was very realisting!

Please see the attached documents which give you an overview for our current expedition as well as the extended study menu to enjoy learning at home!
A huge thank you to all of the adults that were able to join us yesterday afternoon for our first Family Learning of the year.
It was a lovely opportunity for us all to get together as a year group and create some artwork linking to the layers of the rainforest that we’ve been learning about this week! We can’t wait to see the finished pictures up on display in our classrooms!
