Reception- XP Outdoors Natural Artwork

During our afternoon XP Outdoor sessions, Reception pupils had a wonderful time exploring their creativity in nature! Using natural resources they found around the school grounds — such as leaves, sticks, stones, and petals — the children created their very own pieces of artwork.

It was fantastic to see how imaginative everyone was, using different textures, shapes, and colours to design their masterpieces. Well done to all of Reception for your brilliant efforts and beautiful creations!

Class 6’s final days of hook week

We finished the Easter week by flying in our own imaginary spaceship to the outer edges of our universe and used our crafting skills to make the rockets that we travelled in. We then went on an exciting exploration through the rain forest, cutting down trees and dodging wild animals and enormous spiders and snakes! To finish our immersion we made maps to show our journey and binoculars and compasses to help us navigate on our adventures. We even found time to make yummy rice crispy buns and super cute ‘bunny bottom’ Easter cards. Phew! We’ve had such good fun and can’t wait to begin our new expedition!

Have an amazing Easter weekend everyone

Lots of love from Class 6!

Decorating Egg’s Competition

Class 8’s fantastic hook week

Class 8 have had a fantastic week of craft and immersion into our new expedition. We have made rockets, maps, binoculars and compasses, as well as drawing Paddington and writing about his adventures!

We have used our imaginations a lot this week as we have packed a suitcase for our journey, gone on a bus tour around London, been blasted off into space and went trekking through the jungle in Peru! What great fun!

Have a lovely Easter weekend and see you nect week!
