Well done girls!
This afternoon we completed our case study 2 reflection. It was lovely to see how much knowledge the children had gained over the last few weeks studying forces. The children could confidently articulate their learning and use the correct scientific vocabulary. Well done everyone for showcasing your learning to me – even better we got to type it up on the chrome books!
Please can all reception parents collect their children from the hall doors today instead of classroom doors due to the rain.
Thank you
Miss Carter
This year, we are inviting you to dress up in bright colours or spots to raise money for children in need with a suggested donation of £1.
School Council will also be running a bun sale. Any children who would like to buy a bun can take 50p to class and the buns will be delivered to them. If you would like to make a donation of buns or cakes to support us, that would be greatly appriciated.
We can’t wait to see what you dress up in!
I have been blown away over the last week by the children’s dedication to getting smarter with their writing. They have rewritten the well known story of ‘The 3 little pigs and have transformed it into ‘The 3 little knights and the big bad dragon’.
The care they have taken over ensuring they are using the correct punctuation, ambitious vocabulary and beautiful handwriting and presentation has overwhelmed me. I am so proud of every single child in class 9 and am very excited to see how they continue to improve and shine like absolute superstars!
Well done guys!

This week we are learning the grapheme and phoneme ‘b’. The children have been busy singing B-I-N-G-O, finding objects that begin with ’b’ and having a go at writing it in different ways. Well done, Nursery! We are so proud of you!
Well done to our Star Readers this week and also a big well done to everyone who has been taking home their books, reading to an adult and returning it the next day! Let’s hope we start to see a big improvement in our reading!
This morning, Y5 and Y6 visited Trinity to listen to a science lecture linked to their expedition about space and forces. This gave them the opportunity to experience what it is like to give a lecture and present their learning. This will support them in preparing their own for our celebration of learning.
Well done everyone for being great ambassadors for Green Top, with excellent learning attitudes and behaviour whilst on our visit. I know you impressed Mr Taylor, Head of Science, with your subject knowledge.
Dear All,
As part of our expeditionary learning we will be having a book sale everyday after school outside Nursery to raise money to buy teddy bears for Doncaster Changing Little Lives. These bears will provide much needed comfort for children in need aged 0-3 years.
If you feel able to donate to this worthy cause please donate on ParentPay or cash on the day. The suggested amount will show as £1.00 on Parent Pay from today but any donations are more than welcome.
Thank you for your continued support and care.
