Everyone has arrived at Austerfield and got themselves set up ready for the camp later on tonight!
Class 13 have started the morning with some team games. We have had to work as a team to get the hoop around the circle, pass the ping pong ball along the drain pipe and make our way across the river!
Class 12 have been working on their map skills during their orienteering session.
A huge congratulations to Imogen who won lots of medals and trophies in her dance competitions in the half term. I know you really enjoy going and you work hard, so a massive well done!
Thankyou for bringing these in and sharing with us. Keep up the awesome work Imogen.
This morning class 9 were hooked into their new case study ’space’ they made and drew their own alien and then added adjectives to describe size, shape, colour and personality. Great work produced by everyone! well done!😊
Just a reminder that Miss Knowles’ class will swim as normal tomorrow. Please make sure your child is in school by 8.30 so that they don’t miss the lesson!
Thank you 🙂

Case Study 1. This ranged from rocks, tectonic plates and earthquakes. We showed such amazing knowledge and resilience to keep going this morning. Check out some of the fantastic work!
We then completed some work on perimeter, which we have become really confident with. Although it was tricky to start off with, we did not let that put us off, worked a little harder at it and the work has been excellent. We drew our own shapes, measured them and then worked out the perimeter. This shows just how far the confidence of EVERYONE has come on.
Unfortunately, the pictures aren’t uploading, so I will try to figure this out.
However, it’s still worth the blog as it was agreed we couldn’t pick only one person for the post card. We made the decision that everyone in Class 11 could earn it for their fantastic Friday. Have a happy, safe and enjoyable week off – you have been amazing these past few weeks especially. Keep it up and enjoy the sun! 😆
Year 2 enjoyed a well deserved treat today because of their fantastic efforts whilst completing their SATs recently. We are so proud of how they have handled them and we can’t wait to share the results with you all soon!
Well done year 2…you are all superstars x x
Some key stage 1 children went to the library today to launch our castle product. The librarians were amazing and made us feel so welcome! We read some books, completed some wordsearches and enjoyed the walk to the library! The children worked so hard on the product and they loved seeing it out in the community.
If you are passing the library, why not pop in and see it!
Well done key stage 1, have a fabulous half term!
