A huge well done to key stage 1 for a fabulous day. We had our first community crew meeting and we celebrated our fabulous stewards this week who help to keep our classrooms looking tidy!
We apologise again that the rain ruined our family learning but we will check the weather and hopefully rearrange soon!

This afternoon, we visited our new library and enjoyed looking at the wide range of books. We discussed some norms and expectations to take care of our books and keep our library looking tidy.
We already can’t wait for our next visit!
The children have had a wonderful morning
We have made community superheroes for our display, as well as lollipop superheroes, which look fantastic!
I need to give a special shout out to Myla who came dressed as me …but I have no idea how she knew what I was going to wear today
A huge thank you to all of the adults that were able to join us yesterday afternoon for our first Family Learning of the year.
It was a lovely opportunity for us all to get together as a year group and create some artwork linking to the layers of the rainforest that we’ve been learning about this week! We can’t wait to see the finished pictures up on display in our classrooms!
Please see the attached letter about The Axholme Academy upcoming open evening for both Year 5 and Year 6 parents and children.
