Coffee Morning – With Me In Mind

We are proud to announce that we are now a “With me in Mind” school. We invite you to our first coffee morning in the school hall with our Senior Mental Health Practitioner, Mike, who will be there to introduce himself, have a chat or discuss any concerns you may have.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Y3/4 Parent Overview and Homework Menu

Please take a few moments to have a look at the overview for our Expedition learning this term. Additionally, each child would greatly benefit from completing tasks weekly from our Homework Menu. Many thanks,

Crew Spetch – Postcard Winners

A huge shoutout to last weeks postcard winners. We had lots to celebrate from showing kindness and empathy, beautiful craftsmanship and quality when immersing our classroom and working hard in PE. I wonder who will be our winners this week?!

Extended Study – National Fitness Day!

On the 24th September we are celebrating National Fitness Day! To get us ready and prepared we would like you to create some posters that we can have around school to inform children, staff and parents about the importance of fitness!

Watch the video below to collect some ideas for your poster.

Crew Council will be round this week to show you their examples too!

Extended Study – Roald Dahl Competition!!

On 13th September it is Roald Dahl Story Day. To celebrate we are rolling out a whole school competition that we would love for you to get involved in.

What is your favourite Roald Dahl story? Who is your favourite character?

Can you design a poster, story spoon, story stone etc to show your favourite. The Reading Ambassadors will select their favourite from each year group and they will be displayed in our new reading library!

Bring your entries in before Friday 26th September

Class 6 Marvelous Maths

The children are loving their new White Rose Maths work books and have done brilliantly in our first sessions. For the first term we work in small adult led groups to complete the workbooks and the other children complete lab activities independently that are linked to the lesson objective. One of our outcomes last week was ‘Count objects from a larger amount’ and the children completed this super-cute activity.

Well done my maths wizards!
