This half term Year 5 will be taking part in XP outdoors every TUESDAY during G-Block. Children will need a change of appropriate clothes and footwear each week.
We are also lucky to have a YourPE coach again this half term. PE will be outside every FRIDAY so children will need their outdoor PE kits. It is important that children have appropriate footwear to avoid injury.
Thank you for your support with this,
Year 5 Crew
This week we took chair drumming outside in to the lovely sunshine!
Well done to everyone for joining in. We even looked at some different musical notations!
We definitely have some musicians in the making!
Do you have any unwanted cardboard/ cardboard boxes at home?!
We would happily take them from you to help with the creation of props and backdrops for our upcoming production! Any shape and size will be greatly appreciated!

We hooked into our expedition today by completing jigsaws of our new text and writing a diary entry as Paddington to tell what he had seen on his trip to the Tower of London. We then got out our counting collections and investigated different ways to group and share the objects.
Fantastic effort class 6!

Well done to Ethan who guessed the correct name of our dragon – Taffy!!
During our afternoon XP Outdoor sessions, Reception pupils had a wonderful time exploring their creativity in nature! Using natural resources they found around the school grounds — such as leaves, sticks, stones, and petals — the children created their very own pieces of artwork.
It was fantastic to see how imaginative everyone was, using different textures, shapes, and colours to design their masterpieces. Well done to all of Reception for your brilliant efforts and beautiful creations!
