We’ve had another lovely day in our class today! We have started to work on our collaborative artwork where we are each doing a piece to contribute to one large crew sign and I was so proud of everyone’s efforts. We also enjoyed an afternoon with Mr Kershaw making catapults!
Today the children had lots of fun creating obstacle courses using their balancing skills and developing their special awareness. Go Crew Reception!
Another exciting and busy day in Reception! Today we focussed on Crew and working together as a Crew to strengthen our relationships but most of all we had fun!
Well done Reception Crew! You were superb 😊

As part of today’s crew task, Crew Ambler have written a letter to themselves about what they would like to achieve by the end of Y6. They will then open their letters at the end of Y6 to see if they achieved what they wanted to. Great work Crew Ambler I was very impressed with your hard work today!

What a lovely first day back we had yesterday! It was wonderful hearing about everyone’s summer holidays and watching everyone take part in our crew building tasks!
Yesterday afternoon, we even had a go at following a recipe to create some rainbow pasta!! Everyone loved it and enjoyed tasting the different ingredients!

Our first family learning of the year is on Thursday 7th September at 1.45pm. Come along to help your child make their sword and helmet ready for our great Roman battle on the Friday!
Your child will need cardboard for the activity so we would be grateful if you could dig out any old boxes / pieces of cardboard that you can find!

Class 5 enjoyed a team building session with Mr Kershaw today. The children were super at working as a team to try and complete the challenge!
Class 5 have had a lovely first day back at school today. We have been exploring the question ‘How does what I do impact others?’. We have enjoyed the story ‘The Messy Magpie’ and have also been exploring our new classroom. Well done Class 5 for a super first day in Year 1!
