Class 5’s reading superstar!

Today, I have the absolute pleasure of being in class 5 and to kick start our morning we had Martha showing such courage when she ever so proudly told us about the most recent book she had read. We love Little People Big Dreams and Martha had found one with the stories of Rosa Parks and Gloria Steinem. Martha sat proudly in front of the rest of the class and read, with outstanding fluency and expression, the beautiful stories of these two inspirational women!!!! Well done and a huge thank you to Martha!

Crew Jackson – Family Learning

We began to get into the festive season this afternoon during a Christmas crafty afternoon of fun. It was fabulous to see adults and children working together to design their Christmas wood cookie decoration; as you can see on the photos, the outcomes were fantastic.

Thank you to all the family members that joined us – we always appreciate your support.

Y5/6 Celebration of Learning

On Monday 4th December at 5pm we would like to invite you to join us in the hall for our celebration of learning for our expedition – ‘How can we help our planet survive?’

You will have the opportunity to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea whilst you look at your child’s expedition work, listen to your child read you their speech about saving endangered animals and view their final product.

We can not wait to share their amazing framed artwork with you. This will be available for you to take home on the night; all we ask is that you bring some change to throw in to our donation buckets. All money raised will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund to support endangered animals.

We look forward to seeing you at this event.

Not all heroes wear capes!

This is Reid and his sister Neve. Reid and Neve have picked a tag for a child in need at Xmas, they have bought a gift that was written on the tag and written a card too. These will be dropped off and donated to children that are in need of a christmas present. Great work Reid and Neve! We think you are heroes for helping those that are less fortunate in our community.
