Xp rail city book launch 🚂
Ezra and Thea had a fantastic time representing Green Top at the book launch of an XP book, which is on sale to buy now. It contains work of some children in our school and is available to buy from Danum Museum and art gallery.
They enjoyed learning about trains and the history of Doncaster through the artefacts that were on show.
Well done you two, I was very proud of how you embraced today. Also, well done to everyone who’s work made it into the book, some of the artwork is stunning!
Crew Spetch – Harry Potter day 🧙♀️🧹
We’ve had a great day at Hogwarts before our day at Harry Potter Studios!
See you all bright and early at 6:45am for the coach in the morning!
Friday film! 🎅
What a treat it was for Year 3 and 4 to be able to go and watch the film Elf at the Savoy cinema. Thank you to the friends for helping organise this great morning out. We had that much fun we only managed to get one photo!
Year 5 – Harry Potter day – Potions 🧪
This morning, we took part in potions lessons, Harry Potter Style!!
We worked in groups to come up with creative potions and used gross ingredients like elf snot, pixie brains and unicorn blood to create some very disturbing mixtures!
If you find yourself transporting or turning invisible it might be down to our witches and wizards in year 5! 🧙♀️🧙
Year 6 Harry Potter Watercolours
This morning in Year 6 we have explored using different watercolour techniques to create effects. After exploring and having a practice, we went on to create the night sky behind a Hogwarts silhouette. We are yet to complete them; I can’t wait to see the final pieces later this week.

Key stage 1 nativity updates
Please can all of the children make sure that their costumes are in school with their teachers by Monday morning ready for our dress rehearsal…thanks so much for those that we have received already! If there are any problems, please do speak to someone in school.
Also, speaking parts have been sent out again as some children really need to practise them over the weekend. Thanks so much for supporting us with this!
If anyone is wanting any extra tickets, please speak to a member of staff on the door as there are lots of tickets still available and we would love to have a great audience to show off the children’s hard work to!
