This week in Phonics we have been covering the following sound. The sounds will be sent out for the children to be practising to recognise the trigraph, say the trigraph and then write the grapheme.
The children are really starting to learn and retain those sounds but will need support to blend those sounds together. Have a go at the green words and the more they hear those sounds being blended the easier it will become. There is a sentence to read on the bottom of the sheet also. Reading this and also reading the reading books that the children now have will all help to increase and improve the children’s fluency in their reading.
Thanks
Mrs Wallace and Mrs Jones.
We’ve had great fun at the National history museum this morning! Photos / blogs will follow! We are just having a lunch break before exploring the science museum!
This morning, we enjoyed eating some breakfast treats whilst enjoying a good book! It was lovely to relax, listen to music and enjoy some treats whilst reading!
We’ve arrived at the museum ready for a morning of fun!
This morning in Crew Walton, we are spending time together, enjoying a good book with a nice drink and a biscuit, whilst wearing our PJ’s…how lovely!
Class 5 absolutely loved our visitor yesterday. The excitement on their faces before they even went into the dome says it all. What an amazing experience for them all. We learned lots of new facts about space and even enjoyed some mini disco songs along the way!
