Hudson and Nasrin were the postcard winners in Nursery today. Thank you for being kind, working hard and getting smart! We also want to wish Logan a very happy birthday today. The children enjoyed sharing your chocolate cake and taking home a party bag 🎂🎉

We have had a fantastic day in Nursery. We started off our morning by further exploring the story of the Three Little Pigs. All children completed the challenge of drawing a picture of a house for the pigs independently. There were so many children trying really hard to hold their pen correctly and make meaningful marks on paper. Our beautiful work is now on display in Nursery ✍🏼😃

A huge shout out to our post card winners today… Ethan, Grace and Archie! Thank you for being lovely role models to your friends today.

Kole also brought in a castle he made at home – a perfect example of how to live out our expedition title ‘Early Years Engineers’ ⭐️

Today we had an exciting visit from musician Geoff Hewitt. He talked to the children about how music is made, played his guitar and then demonstrated how we can make our own guitars, drums or shakers. The children loved listening to Geoff play and did a fantastic job creating their own instruments. Then, best of all, we all enjoyed using our instruments to make our own music – it was very loud! Well done Nursery Crew!

The nursery children were given the simple challenge of ‘what can you make?’ Each group had no more than two materials and they had to work collaboratively to create their idea! Here are some of our best bits! We made a house, rocket and tower!

Skyla and Albie received postcards today for being amazing role models for listening carefully in crew and working collaboratively with others. Kole also brought in a book from home and read it to his friends! What a great start to the week ☺️

In F1 we have a new cosy reading area and the children are loving having a quiet, snuggly space to discover lots of lovely books with their friends and teachers.
