Exploring 6,7,8.

In F2 we have been looking at the numbers 6,7 and 8. We have been looking at the composition of the numbers and how we can represent in different ways. the children managed to find lots of different ways to show us the numbers. We have been so impressed with how hard they are all working.

Maths Week Challenge 3

What does 100 look like?

Choose a random object from your house and count out 100! Will you choose to count 100 pasta pieces, 100 pieces of cereal of even 100 socks!? Be as creative as you want to be and let’s see what 100 looks like!

If you can, put your 100 items in a bag and fetch them to show your teachers! Remember you can always send photographs to your teachers or to [email protected]

This afternoon some Nursery & Reception children had their photo taken for Thorne Times to celebrate our learning for our Autumn term expedition ’How do we care for bears?’ and our great achievement of being able to buy 270 bears for Changing Lives charity with the money from our fundraising efforts.
