To celebrate our end of year, we have enjoyed a graduation celebration complete with cap and gown, as well as a final rendition of our Key Stage crew song – The Climb:

We have had a fantastic (hot) day full of fun! I am loving getting to know the children. They have been working so hard to impress me despite the heat and I am so pleased with them all!

Year 2 transition day fun

lots of fun in crew Shaw this morning whilst we were building towers! Some were tall and some weren’t so much but we had loads of fun making them anyway!

Some team work took place too 😀

And plenty of snack and drinks breaks all day!

Can’t wait for tomorrow now…hope you’ve all enjoyed it too 💚

Each week the crew with the best attendance wins £5 to add to their piggy bank and spend as they wish at the end of the term. In true crew spirit, our Year 2 crews decided to club together and treat everyone in Y2 to an ice-cream! A very yummy treat on a very hot Friday 🙂

Staff crew tonight 💚

Staff took part in their own staff crew sports day tonight. We felt exactly the same as some of the children did on sports day, when we were put outside of our comfort zone.

There were some falls, some competitiveness and lots of laughs!
