Class 8 have been writing a contrasting description this week of a rural and a city setting.
They used the model to find ambitious vocabulary and exciting phrases so that they could magpie them for their own work.
Some of the phrases they liked were ‘plume of smoke’, ‘heavenly sky’ and ‘tall skyscrapers reaching for the stars’.
I can’t wait to read their finished writing if they used some of this fantastic examples!
