In crew this week, we have introduced our kindness calendar. We spent the session discussing the different random acts of kindness and making pledges for what we are going to try and do this month.
Remember to share pictures of anything that you do at home so we can add them to the blog.
This week we have been learning all about the water cycle and the technical words we can use for the different stages of the cycle. I wonder if you can tell your grown ups some of the words we have learnt and what they mean.
During our Crew Assembly this morning several members of class 6 were given awards.
Well done to Poppy who was the HoWL point winner for Crew Burton/Robson and Teddy who won for Crew O’Neill.
Layla, Francesca, Samantha and Reuben were also awarded certificates for being kind, working hard and getting smart.
Keep up the good work everyone, I can’t wait to see who wins next week.
All the children in class 6 who have written more than 30 books were awarded their bronze reading certificates today. Annabel was also awarded her silver certificate for reading a fantastic 70 books.
Don’t forget to keep reading and bringing your books in to be changed on a Tuesday and Friday.
Everyone has been working really hard again over the last two weeks which is making it even more difficult to choose a learning legend each day. Here are the winners.
In crew this morning we talked about why trees are so important to us and what we can do to protect them. We also thought about other things we can do to help look after the world. We wrote our ideas on the leaves to create our own tree.
Well done to Teddy and Samantha who were our Learning Legends today.
Miss O’Neill and I were really impressed with you both and you are a credit to your crews.
