Times Tables Rockstars in Class 7

Well done to all the boys and girls who made such a fantastic effort with their rockstar dressing up last Friday … you were amazing! Have a look at the photos below and I’m sure you will agree 🙂

Class 7 Round-Up

We’ve had a busy few weeks in Class 7 since the start of our summer term.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who has come along for Class 7’s student-led conferences and well done to the children taking part.

Hook week saw the children engaging with our new expedition, Diverse Doncaster: Where do I belong? As part of this we enjoyed a visit by a local expert (Geoff from XP) with his drone which he used to take aerial photographs above our school. We also followed a treasure trail of clues around the school to find a hidden time capsule made be former pupils in the year 2000. The children were also very amused by an activity to match up baby photos with current teachers in school, and to top of the exciting week we used our PE dance unit to explore a range of different dances through time!

Class 7 have also enjoyed learning from each other and finding out about one another’s different hobbies. For example, Isabelle has shared her fantastic gemstone collection and Annabel her recent award in karate. Well done girls – keep up the great work!

Check out the slideshow below to see what all the fuss is about:

Reminder for the key stage 1 celebration of learning

****If you haven’t already let your teacher know or completed the form please do…the more families that attend, the more proud the children will be of their fantastic work! ****

We are so excited to finally invite parents to see the fantastic video that our children made during the Autumn term. The expedition was called ‘ What will I do to be a superhero in my community?’ and we believe that this video showcases all of their hard work throughout the term.

We would like to invite all parents and carers to XP East for our film premiere on Tuesday 17th May 2022. It will begin at 5pm and last for approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

We would love if the children could come in their best party clothes, just like the movie stars do at a film premiere. There will be refreshments available.

Please let teachers know how many people from your family will be attending. It would be great to see as many faces as possible at the event to really celebrate the children’s learning!

Please complete the following form by clicking on the link below so that we know how many people will be attending. Alternatively, please speak to your class teacher to let them know who will be coming from your family.
