Next week, we will be taking part in a week full of activities linking to Kindness. This is part of the NSPCC fundraising and awareness week.
We will be taking part in lots of fun activities during Crew each day and there will be lots of opportunities for children to complete Kindness Challenges at home too.
Next Friday, to raise money for the NSPCC, we will be holding a Non-Uniform Day for donations of £1.
Over the last two weeks we have developed our use of the chalk pastels and produced some more wonderful expedition linked artwork. I am so impressed with our brilliant snake pictures! x
Yesterday afternoon, I had the privilege of going and sharing a story with Crew Ambler. It was lovely to go and see lots of familiar faces and catch up as well as read a book together. Thank you for allowing me into your Crew! I had a lovely time! Mrs Spetch x

This morning, we had a lovely walk to Thorne library where the children chose books and enjoyed some time reading for pleasure. It was great to see everyone interested and hooked into looking at books from different genres and sharing what they’d found with each other.
Well done to our most recent postcard winners for showing great attitudes towards their learning and completing lots of beautiful work across English and Expedition!
Another huge shoutout to Luna and Toby for completing more home learning over the weekend! You’re doing a great job extending your knowledge! 🌟
We have had another fun and creative session making origami rainforest animals linked to expedition. Amber and Grace were so inspired and adapted the design to make ‘Snitch’!
Come and join us between 8:30 and 9:30 on Friday 29th September to raise money for Macmillan.
