Look at Hope’s amazing vegetable garden. She has been keeping us updated on her garden over the last few weeks and today she brought some of her peas to show her classmates. Hope says she can’t wait to eat her peas at lunchtime! We are very proud of you Hope and you fruit and vegetables look delicious.

Today really has been a treat. Thank you Mrs Hardman for our biscuits and ice lollies! We finished the afternoon with some more physical development activities using the trim trail and the 3G pitch! We hope the children have enjoyed their day today as we certainly have!

Recently the children have been showing an interest in sports and today we are lucky enough to have Mrs Hardman and Miss Walton in Reception. Our teachers were feeling sporty this morning so off we went to the big field to practise our Sports Day skills! I have a feeling this may be a popular activity choice for many Reception children over the next few weeks!
The children are always desperate to get onto the play equipment so for Funky Friday last week it was an easy choice for our Friday treat. I think it is safe to say the children are excited about transitioning onto this playground!
We absolutely loved the reading challenge week in Class 3. We read lots of favourite stories and we are continuing to read as many as possible. Look at all of these books we have enjoyed! The children are also enjoying doing lots of independent reading in school in our phonics lessons and provision. We have lots of children moving up through our reading levels and we are so proud of the children for their hard work and enthusiasm.

Good Morning All,

Enjoy!
A reminder to all parents to read Mrs Salter’s letter that was emailed out yesterday. This letter includes key dates and information for the half term ahead.
All key dates and events have also been added to the school calendar.
Many thanks,
EYFS Team
