Save the Children: Christmas Jumper Day

On Friday 10th December, we will be having a Christmas jumper day to raise money for the ‘Save the Children’ charity. Children are encouraged to come to school wearing a Christmas jumper or t-shirt and bring a donation of £1. Thank you for your support, we can’t wait to see your Christmas outfits!

Pick up litter! Use the bin!

Key stage 1 had a fantastic celebration of their learning today in a very cold playground for their families and friends. We talked very knowledgeably about the small changes made by people that can make a huge difference to the lives of lots of people and recited some fantastic poems we had written as part of our English cycle. We finished this fantastic event with a march around our school grounds to raise awareness of the dangers to our world of litter pollution.

As always, a huge debt of thanks goes to our wonderful parents and careers for their help and support, without which events such as these would be impossible.

A fantastic event!

Key stage 1 poetry jam update!

Hopefully in the morning at 9am, the weather permitting, year 1 and 2 children will perform their celebration of learning to you outside on the playground. Unfortunately due to covid restrictions and guidance from the Dfe we won’t be able to have you all in the hall at the same time.

After you have dropped the children off at their classrooms at 8.45, we will walk you all around to the gazebo on the ks2 playground where you can stand and socially distance. Please wear a mask if you are able.

We are hoping to then take the children on a walk around the school with any placards that they have brought in from home.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
