What a lovely, sunny afternoon it was for some outdoor team building games with water! The children had to work together as a team to transport water from one place to another using a number of different items, with some being trickier than others. It’s fair to say that the children absolutely loved it with most of them getting drenched in the process!
Crew Knowles – water fun!
Crew Knowles – Friendship Crew Session
We had a lovely crew session this morning thinking about friendship and what makes a good friend! We used our answers to create friendship chains and joined them all together to make one big one! Lovely work guys!
Year 4 – XP Outdoors 🌲
This afternoon, the children were lucky enough to have Mr Kershaw teach them how to make a catapult! It wasn’t an easy task but the children gave it their best efforts.
Crew Knowles – second day!
We’ve had another lovely day in our class today! We have started to work on our collaborative artwork where we are each doing a piece to contribute to one large crew sign and I was so proud of everyone’s efforts. We also enjoyed an afternoon with Mr Kershaw making catapults!
Y3/4 Family Learning
Our first family learning of the year is on Thursday 7th September at 1.45pm. Come along to help your child make their sword and helmet ready for our great Roman battle on the Friday!
Your child will need cardboard for the activity so we would be grateful if you could dig out any old boxes / pieces of cardboard that you can find!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
Year 3/4
Crew Knowles – First day back!
We’ve had such a lovely first day back in Year 4! We have enjoyed lots of team building challenges including building with marshmallows and toothpicks, stacking cups using string and elastic and then a very fun game of rock, paper, scissors this afternoon!
Crew Knowles
It was so lovely to have my class back today! To celebrate the end of history week and the end of transition week, they created some beautiful artwork! I was so impressed watching the children choose to work with new people based on the new friendships that have been made during transition!
Products at the picnic!
Wow, thank you to all of those people that have bought wristbands to support Year 3/4’s expedition! Thanks to your sales, we have been able to donate another £60 to British Red Cross making our total £305!!
We will be selling them tomorrow and will also be out at the picnic on Friday selling our wristbands and postcards to raise even more money! Postcards are £1 each or 5 for £3. Wristbands are £1.
Thank you!
New to year 5 transition days
We have had a fantastic 2 days in our new class and I have been really impressed with everything you have done. I cannot wait until next year to see what a fantastic crew we will be. Well done guys – you should all be really proud of yourselves!
