Class 16 have been sending me some lovely images of how they have celebrated Better World Day. We have had paintings, colourings, chalk pictures and even pictures drawn on the window! I can’t wait to see some more!

Class 16 have worked INCREDIBLY hard on their Usain Bolt biographies this week! They have spent Monday- Thursday building up their biography by writing a section each day. I am so proud of them and their hard work. The standard of their writing and research has blown me away! Well done #CrewKnowles

Yesterday it was hearts and today it is lungs! Year 6 have continued their Expedition learning by focusing on our respiratory systems and understanding how our lungs work. Here are some great diagrams which have been drawn by Crew Knowles!
I am super impressed with some of the heart drawings that Crew Knowles have sent me today! They are so detailed and scientifically labelled! Well done everyone!
This week we are working on creating a biography of Usain Bolt. Today, we focused on looking at his early life. I am so impressed with some of the paragraphs I have read so far!
Rosie created a fantastic fact file about an athlete who is inspirational to her. She chose Rebecca Luxton – a runner – and wrote all about her inspirational qualities.

I have found it impossible to choose a Learning Legend today as so many of our crew have submitted great work! What has impressed me the most is that children are collaborating with each other and supporting each other to complete their work (in true Green Top style).
So instead of a Learning Legend here is a picture of my AMAZING Crew who I miss very very much!
Well done everyone for another fantastic day!
We have had lots of lovely leaflets and posters created today as part of our Hook Week! The children used the information that they researched yesterday and put it in to a different format. Great work guys!
Crew Knowles have been fabulous today! I am so impressed with how many of the children engaged with our learning on our new theme! We have been researching how to keep our bodies healthy, measuring our pulse rate, and immersing ourselves in our Expedition with a variety of fun activities. Well done Crew Knowles!
Today’s Learning Legend goes to Alexi for her motivation to finish all of her work and to make any suggested corrections! Well done Alexi, you are a true Motivated Moe!
We are looking forward to starting the summer term with you all tomorrow.
Check out the classroom for updates…
We will see you on our morning hangouts tomorrow!
