Welcome to Class 6 and 7

Good evening everyone.

We are so looking forward to welcoming you all to year one tomorrow morning for a wonderful week of transition activities to help you settle back into what we are sure will be an awesome autumn term.

Parents – Here are a few pointers to ensure a smooth and stress free beginning to the new school year.

Please help us to help you cut down on lost items by having a quick check that ALL the children’s belongings are labelled with at the very least their initials so we can quickly re-unite them with cardigans, jumpers and PE kit.

Ideally only plain water should be sent into school every day in a re-useable bottle rather than sugary drinks, although juice is fine for packed lunches.

We have not finalised a day for PE just yet but it is a good idea to send in PE kit on Monday and leave it in school to be sent home on Friday afternoon. In this way, the children have a change of clothes should this be needed.

Please don’t allow your children to bring toys into school unless they are for funky Friday time as they sometimes go missing and the children are heartbroken. Funky Friday toys will be kept in a safe place until they are needed.

We will be available in the playground from 8.30 until 8.45 every morning should you have any questions or concerns.

See you all tomorrow!
