Thank you to all parents and grandparents who attended family learning this afternoon. It was lovely to see the children so engaged with the digital art and trying really hard to get their heads around the new app! Although it was tricky to begin with, I thought they all did an incredible job with it!

In crew this week, Penny and Matilda have been reading the biography of Anne Frank to everyone!
Well done to Imogen for her successes outside of school. Irish dancing is no easy style but Imogen and her dance team have had national success recently. They are now looking forward to competing at the World Championships in the coming year. It is always great to share extra curricular achievements with our crews and our wider school community. Well done Imogen, we look forward to hearing all about how you get on!

Exciting opportunity!! Year 5 will be taking part in Bikeability Cycle Training over 2 weeks beginning 4th November. This is a free course. Children will be bringing home information this week. Please complete and return the forms as soon as possible. The deadline is Wednesday 16th October.
We had fun in science today learning all about gravity. First we built our background knowledge on gravity before investigating using water bottles with different masses. I was so impressed that each group managed to discover that even though the bottles had different masses, they still hit the ground at the same time! #OgdenTrust
Well done to our super Crew Champions this week! I loved listening to all of the wonderful things said about you by your teachers!
Thank you for attending Year 4 Family Learning and making it such a success. I thought the children grappled really well with the technology to produce some excellent pieces of art.
