We have had a wonderful first day on our residential.
After a bit of a walk up a very steep hill, we arrived out of breath but very excited.
We went to our rooms and made our beds and had lunch – and then we were raring to go with our afternoon packed with activities. Caving, rock climbing, archery and giant swing are some of the activities we have had a go at today. It was fantastic to see the children encouraging and supporting each other – true team spirit!
After a lovely tea, we had a go at Night Line or Crate Stacking! Again the children had to work together to be successful.
The evening finished with team games and hot chocolate – and very tired but happy children ASKING TO GO TO BED!
WOW! what a great time you all look to be having! I’m jealous. Enjoy tomorrow everybody 🙂
Well done jack Mcewen on your first day. I told you you would be able to climb up the wall. Have a good night’s sleep and get ready for your second day of fun and activities. Mum Daniel Thomas and dad
A set of Robin Hoods at Robin Wood! Looks an amazing place.
Glad you are all enjoying it, hope you have another great day today
