Well done to Seth for getting the out of this world. He has been an absolute super star and has been trying really hard. It was great to get this picture this morning and see how proud everyone is of you.

We have been continuing to revise our phase 3 graphemes. Today we focused on the /oo/ digraph. This can make two sounds. A long sound and a short sound this is explained in the video below.
After watching the videos we tired to read and write some of the words by ourselves.

Today we have revised the /ear/ and /air/ trigraphs.

Today we have started a new Maths Block. We will begin learning about time. This includes:
- daily routines
- days of the week
- language of time for example first, next, last, after that
- Introduction to time (How many lego bricks can you place in a tower in 1min, 2min, 3 mins etc)
- Beginning to think about clocks measuring time (o’clock times)
Today the children completed a ‘Blast Off’ to find out what they already know. Next we will learn about this and at the end of this block we will do a ‘Touch Down’ to see how far our learning has come.
Crucial Crew
We had a great time at Crucial Crew learning all about how to be safe and responsible in our community.
We love a good old pobble reading lesson in class 12. No wrong answers, lots of discussion, imagination, questioning, inference, retrieval, evidence selecting and predictions! So much learning all rolled up into one fun lesson! We love it!
My favourite part though, is how they recall and link their expedition learning (current and past) and just show off all their wonderful knowledge! Well done as always guys! Love it!
We swabbed our fingernails to check for paint, we compared the pattern on our shoes to the pattern left in the paint and we measured the hand and footprints and compared them to our own! We were Not Guilty! 
EYFS fun!!!!
What a fun time we had today. Investigating a class room crime. The children came in from outside to find the classroom had been destroyed. How shocked they all were. They quickly got to work discussing what could of happened and how we need to go about it. They learned all about checking for suspects and proving it wasn’t them. Then this afternoon we followed clues to figure out who the real culprit was before going to look inside a real police van and telling them all about our day.
