This week In Basecamp, we collected data from across the school to see how everyone travels to school each day! We used the data to make pictograms and bar charts…
Thank you to everyone who took part in today’s maths quiz!
We hope you had as much fun as we did answering the questions.
A winner from each phase was drawn out this afternoon – well done to the following children:
A great piece of work here by Lily sharing her Crew Robertson experiences and highlights.
Class 14 have been looking at the different phases of the moon and why we have different phases. We used oreo cookies to show the different phases which we all enjoyed and even managed to eat them all at the end.
Look at this super homework!
Aidan decided he wanted to dress like a lifeguard as part of his homework. He found the jacket in a shop and then found all the other things he needed including a wetsuit! He then made his own accessory using a milk carton and explained how a lifeguard would use this to help them to rescue people who are in trouble in the water.
Isla and Poppy have both been busy making box model fire engines. We think these are awesome girls and we love all the little details you added too!
Ellie-Mai was so excited to show Class 3 a butterfly she had made at home. Well Done Ellie-Mai. It is a beautiful butterfly and really made us all smile!
What an amazingly creative afternoon we had in Key Stage 1 yesterday! Our parents and carers came into school to participate in a box modelling workshop where they helped the children to create models of the buildings found in and around Thorne. As you can see from the photograph’s of class 6’s models it was a roaring success!
Head over to your child’s class blog for more photograph’s.
As always many thanks to you all for your help and support
