Wow! What a start to the week! Weโve been enjoying some relaxation with story time yoga, spying numbers ย and shapes in the environment and the children have had a great time exploring the outdoor area.
Well done to all of the children in nursery! All of the grown ups have been so impressed with how well you are all settling into nursery. 🌟

Charlotte and Ava have enjoyed mark making creating different types of lines in the glittery star tray using their fingers and paint brushes.
Well done girls! ๐
Hello Nursery!
I hope you have all enjoyed your week so far in nursery as much as I have!
I’m so proud of your amazing sun, moon and star work and I wondered if you could complete a little challenge…
Can you watch the weather forecast on the television, internet or even listen to it on the radio?
Can you tell a grown up in nursery what the weather will be like this week?

Francesca, Heidi, Carter and Libby all worked their socks off today when asked to write a sentence which included some phase 2 tricky words.
Well done guys! Iโm so proud of you and your brilliant sentences!

A very special shout out to Ashton for getting his first ever learning legend postcard today for his super behaviour on green planet all day. Well done, Ashton! Iโm so proud of you!
Class 3 went on a treasure hunt to find Little Red Riding Hoodโs basket of fruit to launch our new story in literacy. We had such fun following the clues! Little Red even said we could eat her fruit. Thank you Little Red!
The children in Class 3 worked their socks off today in phonics when learning how to read and spell the Phase 2 tricky word โtheโ. Well done to you all! Iโm so proud of you!
See if you can spot the word โtheโ in your reading books.
The children from Class 4 really enjoyed making the bunting that will be displayed throughout Thorne for the bike race that is taking place on Friday 27th September. The children all listened carefully and produced some beautiful ideas.
Well done Class 4
Keep up the hard work
Mrs Wallace
The children had a wonderful afternoon in the sunshine after discovering sounds in phonics using instruments we then discovered that these dried wild flowers make excellent shakers!
