Today we had our very first shared reading session in Crew Wallace. It was a lovely experience and the children worked really well together in their reading partners and as a Crew. It made me so proud!
Well done Crew Wallace 😊
Hi All,
Here is a some information needed for our trip tomorrow.
Please arrive between 8.30am – 8.45am at the Nursery doors. We will depart promptly and be on our way by 9am. We will return to school by 3pm.
Please dress for the outdoors (wellies/walking boots, warm/layered clothing, rain coats). The weather at the moment is looking very windy, chilly and potentially wet. I would advise bringing a spare change of clothes for your child just incase.
You will need to bring a packed lunch and drink for yourself and your child. Refreshments can also be purchased from the cafe.
Myself and the Nursery team look forward to spending the day with you all tomorrow.
If you have any questions, please catch me on the door at pick up today.

Well done to these children for being Crew champions this week. These children have been paying close attention to our Crew Norms and have demonstrated amazing HOWLs. They have been great role models to all of their friends in Reception .
Well done

Well done to these children for being our HOWL point winners this week. You have been showing us every single day that you are awesome and that you are doing amazing learning and producing beautiful work.
Well done

We had such a lovely visit to enhance our learning of our Expedition question , “What do stories tell us about Autumn?”
We had an amazing time hunting for the Gruffalo on the Gruffalo Trail and in the afternoon we were inspired by our beautiful surroundings and made some lovely nature art.
A special and enormous thankyou to all of our adults that joined us for the day. Without you, visits like this would not be possible for our children so huge thanks from all of us!
The children did amazingly well and we were so proud of them.

Today we welcomed the rest of our new children to Nursery. Our ‘oldies’ were so kind, helpful and friendly to our new starters and really made them feel welcome. Tomorrow we will be building our sense of ‘CREW’ by talking about our feelings and modelling what they might look like and playing ‘learn my name’ games. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings with our beautiful Nursery crew.
The Nursery children have been having lots of crafty fun creating woodland creatures and painting trees to immerse our Nursery environment to kick start our expedition learning. ‘What do stories tell us about Autumn?’
Last Wednesday, some of our older children in school came to read to our Nursery children. This was a really special and a lovely treat. The children listened beautifully and enjoyed the stories for National Read a Book Day!
As part of National Read a book day we were very lucky to have some members of our Learning Council visit us today. They came to read us a story and we enjoyed it so much!
The children were so engaged and the Learning Council were so confident and interacted with our youngest pupils beautifully.
Thank you for such a lovely treat.
Mrs Wallace and Miss Carter 😊
