Another exciting and busy day in Reception! Today we focussed on Crew and working together as a Crew to strengthen our relationships but most of all we had fun!

Well done Reception Crew! You were superb 😊

We are building our community in Nursery by creating collaborative art! We think it’s extra special! Check it out…
We’ve had a wonderful start to Nursery with our oldest children exploring our garden and creating craft for linked to Percy the Park Keeper.
We had such a wonderful first day in Reception.
The children were all really excited to explore and play in their new environment.
We were all so proud of the children’s attitude and hard work today.
Mrs Wallace and Miss Carter 😊
I have been truly blown away by how wonderfully the children have settled in to their new class over the last two days. They have worked so hard to produce work for our pen portrait on Valentina Tereshkova as part of the school-wide history week celebrations and have stuck to the HoWLs and classroom rules that they helped to produce. I hope you all have a fantastic summer and I can’t wait to see you again when you begin year one for real at the end of August.
Great job guys!
We have had a wonderful day learning all about Valentina Tereshkova, investigating our new classroom, making moon sand, devising new classroom rules and helping to make new displays. We will certainly have a good night’s sleep tonight!
See you tomorrow superstars!
Dear Parents & carers,
Please see Mrs Overson’s letter regarding the start of our summer holidays and picnic on Friday. You are invited to collect your children at 12.30pm and join us for a family picnic on the school field.
End of Year Picnic – Friday 21st July 12:30pm
Today has been really special saying goodbye to some of our oldest children before they embark on their transition days in Reception tomorrow and Wednesday. We rolled out the red carpet and we cheered, clapped and shook our pompoms for our graduating children. I hope they have a wonderful two days with Mrs Wallace and Miss Carter and I know Mrs Burton will look forward to seeing them for more celebrations on Thursday and Friday!
The Nursery children enjoyed going to see their new classroom this morning. All of the children really enjoyed seeing their new teaching areas, cloakroom, play zones and new toilets. It was all very exciting! They all walked beautifully and sensibly through the hall to the Reception classroom and all of a sudden they seemed Reception ready! I’m so proud of them all.
Well done to these children for being our Out of this World for the final time in Reception! Their friends voted for them and gave really lovely reasons why they thought they deserved it! Well done everyone.
