The children worked really hard this morning litter picking around the school grounds with Mrs Hardman. We have lots of lovely, kind children who have taken pride in looking after our school.
Great work Nursery Crew!

If you have any shoeboxes, please donate them to EYFS in preparation for our expedition after the Summer holidays. Please bring them to any of the EYFS teachers.
Many thanks,

We are starting to think about what starting in Reception will bring. The children have been practising collecting a cup and walking with a dinner tray like they will need to do in September. This may seem like a small thing but is actually a tricky skill for our little people when they have never had to do it before.
We think they did a great job and we’ll continue to practise in the coming weeks.
We are so proud of all of our Reception Children for being such amazing sports at our Sports afternoon. Not only did they race beautifully but the sportsmanship and crew feel was amazing!!
A huge thank you to all of our grown ups for coming and cheering the children on.
We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.

This week, our phonics sounds are ‘p’ & ‘i’. The children worked really hard today practising their letter formation for ‘i’.
We’ve had a lovely afternoon exploring colour and movement using paints, cars and water. The mud kitchen is always a popular place to be. Marco and his friends have been making a “pasta bake for Mrs Hay’s tea!” Yum! I can’t wait to eat it!
On Wednesday 12th June Nursery and Reception children will be celebrating World Ocean Day. We will be having a day filled with ocean themed activities and ask for your child to come dressed in something blue or dress as an under the sea creature.
Please do not feel pressured to buy anything new – anything blue will do!
Many thanks for your support in what we hope will be an excellent day for our children.

Hello!
Next week we will be talking about where we have travelled and enjoyed a holiday. Please can each child bring in one holiday photograph, it can include family members, friends or just be of a lovely view. Please talk to you child about the photograph prior to bringing it to Nursery – it would be amazing if they could talk about their experiences and lovely memories. We will then display the photos in Nursery until the end of the Summer term.
Many thanks in advance for your support in your child’s learning.

There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad choice of clothing! We puddle suited up and had heaps of fun today in the rain.
The children had an awesome time this afternoon dancing to their favourite tunes and eating hot dogs. Ghostbusters and Micheal Buble’s ‘Spiderman’ were a real hit! I think the children will all sleep well tonight!
