Year 2 100% attendance winners!!!

What a fantastic achievement for these year 2 superstars in class 8! They have been at school every single morning and afternoon of this school year! That is absolutely amazing and the children and their families should be so proud. We know that children can be poorly but everyone has to agree that having 100% attendance is definitely worth celebrating! Well done guys…you deserve your amazon voucher, certificate and prize! Well done!

Crew Shaw’s celebrations today

We have had the best day celebrating our crew today. We spent our attendance money on hotdogs, pizza, sausage rolls and biscuits. We watched some TV together and coloured in. Then we ended our day with some party games and sweets! I will miss this gorgeous bunch so much! What a lovely day we have had and they’ve been so helpful, tidying and sorting the classroom in between all of that fun! Let’s enjoy our last day tomorrow before the Summer begins!

Key stage 1s picnic products *For sale on Friday*

I am so proud of the learning that has happened in key stage 1 this year. The children have risen to the challenge and gone above and beyond with the products that they have made this year and I will forever be grateful for the support from our parents to help celebrating these fantastic achievements.

At the picnic tomorrow, which starts at 12.30, we will have 2 of our amazing products on sale for parents to buy. We have the beautiful recipe books, which feature the children’s writing, photographs and work. There will also be our newest product…the reusable bag, with a self portrait of every child in key stage 1 on, which they sketched this term. I have bought one to use for myself next year too!

we hope you love them as much as we do!

thanks again for all of your support this year

Crew Knowles

It was so lovely to have my class back today! To celebrate the end of history week and the end of transition week, they created some beautiful artwork! I was so impressed watching the children choose to work with new people based on the new friendships that have been made during transition!

A great start to Y6!

The new Crew Mumby made a great start to life in Y6 with a settled and productive two days in their new classroom. During the transition days, we learnt about the moon landing and reasons why Michael Collins (the forgotten astronaut) demonstrated an incredible crew mentality! Have a great summer- I’m looking forward to next year already !

Year 5 Celebration Day

We have had a great day which started off with our crew breakfast this morning. We then completed an A-Z challenge of everything we have learnt this year before enjoying some PE time this afternoon.

This week, we also recorded our crew song that we learnt right back in August during transitions week! It was amazing to see how many of the children could remember it. We hope you enjoy it!

Miss Barnett’s Class Celebration!

What a year it has been! As we reflected on our year today, we have been reminded of all the fantastic things we have achieved this year. From a space lecture to a picnic in the park it has been fantastic to make so many memories and be able to share them with you. I am so proud of each and every one of you and the progress you have made, not only in your learning, but also in how much you have matured this year. I know you will all be amazing as you move into year 6!! Thank you for a fantastic year.
