‘Better days are coming’ Rainbow

Here is a beautiful rainbow made by Nathaniel for him to hang at Grandma and Granddad’s entitled ‘Better Days are coming’  I love the stickers and beautiful tissue paper colours! It’s great to hear about Nathaniel having a go on phonics play already too!

Good morning

Good morning everyone! I am missing you all but equally i’m filled with hope as to how many of you are managing to stay safe and well.

From today I would like the children to ‘check in’ with me each school day so that I don’t miss out on all their fantastic moments. This could be a post to the blog or an email, comment or phone call.
I have uploaded some lessons on to the home learning platform tab  for you to access each day. You can also share any other home learning  privately through the email [email protected]
Children will be awarded virtual postcards for their efforts and we will celebrate some work daily on the school blog.

The EYFS is still very play based and we invite children to explore ideas through their play at home. I will also post some ideas on the page that you may like to try. If you notice children demonstrating their learning through their play we would love to hear about that too! Please can I ask you to take photos or write notes and then let me know!

If you would like to know more about the steps your child is working towards you can read these in the early years outcomes  and development matters. You can arrange to collect a pack from school that includes reading books, a notebook and pencils, number formation sheets and the homework menus that are online. The children too can display this in their workbooks.

I hope you enjoy using our online resources and I can’t wait to see all your wonderful home learning!

Good morning guys

Please log on to Google classroom and comment on the stream I have sent.  I have also shared a Google Doc with you all to comment on.

Your daily learning is now on the classroom but please wait until we have ‘hung out’ at 9:15.

Speak soon guys!

Good Morning Year 1!

Good Morning to everyone in Year 1!  How are you all feeling today?

I have uploaded today’s work on to the google classroom and on to the home learning platform on the school website.  If you have not joined the google classroom yet then you should have an invitation in your email inviting you.

I have also put a post on the google classroom asking how you are feeling today.  Please try and respond on here or on there before 11am so that we know you are safe and well.

If you have any problems please email [email protected]

Take care

Mrs Jackson and Miss Rodgers
