The children in Early years have loved our visit today from Mr Dan. He came and performed a fantastic Punch and Judy show that had the children laughing from start to finish. A huge Thank you to Mr Dan for an amazing morning.
Today we held mental health awareness circles and chatted about what it means to feel lonely and what we can do about it to help our friends feeling that way. Here are some of the childrenâs responsesâŚ
âbe kindâ – Henry
âShare our toysâ – Archie
âtell a teacherâ – Hudson & Olivia
âtell your adults if you feel sad or lonelyâ – Nyah
âAsk someone to play with you or ask your teacher to find you a friendâ – Lexi
âTell someone if you feel lonelyâ – Hollie
âWe can play with everyone to stop our friends feeling lonely.â – Albie
âTell my Mummyâ – Brodie
âAsk someone to play with meâ – George
We have had a beautiful afternoon in Nursery. The sun was shining and children initiated their own play exploring what it would be like to be builders. The children collaboratively built a road and a bridge then enjoyed using it as an obstacle course.
Hello,
This is a polite reminder to pay for your child and their accompanying adult on ParentPay for our Nursery trip to Cleethorpes on Tuesday 7th June if you havenât done so already.
Many thanks,
The Nursery Team.
For Better World Day, Nursery shared two very beautiful stories about how to make our world better. The children listened brilliantly and considered ways we can make the world a better place to be.
Please could we ask you to provide a change of clothes in your child’s bag each day. This is to ensure they have clean and dry clothes to change into should they have an accident. We would also be very grateful to receive any donations of tights, socks and underwear that are no longer of use to you so we can restock our spare clothes boxes in school. Thank you very much, the EYFS Team.
What a great start to the week! Four postcards awarded this morning for fantastic work in phonics! Well done Joshua, Lily-Mae, Esmai and Henry ⭐️😃
