Today we were lucky enough to have a visit from the school nursing team. They spoke to the children about healthy food, the importance of brushing our teeth and why we should exercise. This is just the beginning of our Expedition, we will be learning more about this in the upcoming weeks.
Dancing, yoga, making cards, playing instruments, drawing, reading, craft, snacking and sand! We are having so much fun in Nursery with our new friends.
We have had a lovely afternoon going for a frosty field walk and exploring ice in our garden.
I wonder… can you tell a grown up at home what ice is?
The EYFS team and children are delighted to share that we raised a whopping £446 to buy teddy bears for the children at Changing Little Lives in Doncaster.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your kindness and generosity in buying biscuits, books and toy tombola tickets. We are over the moon to be able to support such a much needed charity.

Nursery are having so much festive fun today playing in the ’snow’ and creating presents and wrapping parcels in the post office.
Tomorrow is our Nursery party day – party outfits and Christmas jumpers are encouraged!

What a lovely morning we have had in Nursery for our celebration for ’How do we care for bears’. Thank you so much to everyone who was able to join us today. We have raised over £100 for Changing Little Lives and more to come from what reception raise this afternoon at their celebration. Thank all beyond words for your donations towards this very worthy cause.
On Wednesday 30th November at 9.15am for our Celebration of learning, please bring a small picnic, teddy bear and some money for our Toy Tombola & Book Sale.
