Naomi could win the Out Of This World certificate every single week because she constantly works hard and is an absolute role model to the rest of the class. Not only that but Naomi has amazed me with her reading results this week during our assessments!

The children love seeing each other on the screen in our phase assembly. They listen so well to each other and praise and cheer for their Howl point winners and shout outs for children in their class. It’s lovely to be a part of.

We have been working so hard in class 9 to establish our reading crew norms and the children have impressed me with how well they are doing. I love listening to them reading and asking them about their books afterwards. It’s lovely to hear the discussions they have about their favourite parts and characters.

Crew Shaw/Jackson have today been looking at how they can be kind to each other in our crew sessions and we used our kindness advent calendar to help give us ideas. We have had so many children holding the door today and helping each other out, it’s been lovely to see

Crew Jackson were reading a letter that I sent them today, telling them all about myself and my family. They read it with a partner and used highlighters to find the exciting vocabulary so that they can mgpie it for their own letter to me next week. I can’t wait to read them all

Key stage 1 enjoyed seeing each other virtually today on our key stage hangout. Each crew celebrated their Howl point winners and gave shout outs to children that were showing others how to be kind, get smart and work hard!

Year 2 have had a go at doing a peer critique of their partners writing and what a fantastic job they have done. They were all working together to see if they had achieved gold or green standard by using their success criteria. I am really proud at how they completed this task and I think they impressed themselves too!

It is class 9s PE day today but because of the awful weather outside, we decided to do some amazing keep fit and dancing in our classroom instead. We saw some great moves and had fun doing it, keep up the great work Crew Jackson
