Please find attached the Year 5/6 extended study menu for our current expedition ‘Fight for your rights: How can one moment influence our future?’
Year 6 will also start to receive additional homework in the run up to SATs which will be handed out to them weekly.
Crew Jackson – How does light travel?
This morning we hooked ourselves into our new expedition by exploring the question ‘how does light travel?’. We carried out an investigation to prove that light travels in straight lines. I was very impressed with the scientific diagrams the children produced to demonstrate their understanding.
Year 6 Christmas Bingo!
We had great fun this morning playing bingo as part of our party day! We had lots of winners!
Crew Jackson – Shout out to Ashton
Well done Ashton on a successful weekend in your martial arts. It was lovely to see how hard you have been working outside of school on developing your skills.
Y5/6 Christmas Disco
The Year 5/6 Christmas disco will take place on Thursday 12th December straight after school 3.15 – 4.15pm.
Children will not need money as treats will be provided. They also won’t need to get changed as it is already Christmas jumper / non uniform day on Thursday!
Pick up will be from normal classroom doors at 4.15pm.

Y6 Space Lecture
Well done Y6 for your awesome space lecture on Thursday. We were all so proud of you standing up their and delivering your lecture to parents. Everyone spoke clear and with great confidence and your slides and script showed how much hard work you have done throughout the expedition. Well done Y6!
Y6 Tag Rugby
Well done to everyone who took part in the Y6 tag rugby fixtures on Friday. It was great to see everyone playing with a smile on their face and braving the cold conditions. Well done Y6!
